スティーヴ・アンジェロ、ベニー・ベナッシなど、
世界的な大物レコーディング・アーティストやDJに楽曲を提供している。
彼の作曲したCinemaはUSビルボードとUKクラブチャートで１位を獲得し、
エレクトロニック・ミュージック・プロデューサーの
スクリレックスによるリミックスでグラミー賞を授賞。
レディー・ガガがツアーに誘ったり、
カニエ・ウェストがグラミー賞受賞曲『Cinema』を”傑作”と評したりと、
著名なアーティストも彼のファンである。
そんなGARYが、京都市京セラ美術館で、開催されている、
今、世界で最も注目される新進気鋭のアーティスト・井田幸昌の
国内美術館初となる展覧会のオープニングにて、
オープニングセレモニーに招待された多くのゲストの前で、
ライブパフォーマンスを行いました。
井田幸昌は、海外のオークションで人気を博し、
ディオールとのコラボレーションや、
前澤友作氏が国際宇宙ステーションにその作品を持ち込み
「宇宙に展示された絵」となったことでも話題のアーティストです。
そのライブパフォーマンスのプロダクションを、
MASHがアドバンスから現場まで、担当させて頂きました。
井田幸昌の国内美術館初となる展覧会、
井田幸昌展「Panta Rhei | パンタ・レイ − 世界が存在する限り」は、
京都市京セラ美術館で2023年9月30日〜12月3日まで開催されています。
GARY GO is a composer and recording artist from the United Kingdom.
His has released several solo artist albums to critical acclaim,
composed major feature film scores and soundtracks and written songs
for some of the world’s biggest recording artists and DJs,
including Rihanna, The Weekend , Skrillex, Steve Angello and Benny Benassi.
Prominent fellow artists are among his fans,
with Lady Gaga inviting him to tour with her and
Kanye West referring to his Grammy-Winning song Cinema as “a masterpiece.”
GARY gave a live performance in front of many guests at the opening ceremony
of the Kyoto Kyocera Museum of Art’s first domestic museum exhibition
of the world’s hottest up-and-coming artist, Yukimasa Ida.
Yukimasa Ida is an artist who has gained popularity at overseas auctions and
collaborated with Dior, and is also the subject of a controversial painting by
Yusaku Maezawa, who brought his work to the International Space Station,
where it became a painting exhibited in space.
MASH was in charge of the production of this live performance,
from the event pre-planning to the on-site execution.
Yukimasa Ida’s first exhibition in a museum in Japan,
“YUKIMASA IDA : Panta Rhei – For as long as the world turns” will be held
at the Kyocera Museum of Art in Kyoto from 30 September to 3 December 2023.
